When I first moved to Des Plaines nearly 20 years ago, Mrs Willie & I tried all the local pizza places. Our favorite local went to Barnaby's on Touhy for thin crust & the Lou Malnati's restaurant in Elk Grove (or take out store in Park Ridge) for thick crust.

I tried Giuseppe's pizza last night, a sausage & mushroom. Pizza was ok but certainly nothing special, way too much cheese, crust is too thick to be thin crust so it has a doughy chew (not in a good way).

I did absolutely nothing and it was everything I thought it could be.

You hit the nail on the head. I've been there a few times (not specifically for pizza) but I've never cared to write about it - certainly not noteworthy but not bad either so no reason to really warn others.

Try Mug's at Central just west of Wolf (was Mugavero's, apparently nobody could spell that).
Very good thin pie: crisp crust, salty not sweet sauce. I only ding them for using a relatively bland sausage.
    Takeout/delivery only.
