Is this event this weekend or next? :?

The Port Washington Chamber of Commerce site lists this info:
    Events
62nd Annual American Legion Smelt Fry
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
Crispy smelt fresh from the fryer!
    Apr. 5, 2013 - Apr. 6, 2013
    Contact Name: American Legion
    Contact Phone Number: 262-284-2855
    Admission Fee: yes
    Location: American Legion Post
    Address:   435 N. Lake St.
    Port Washington 53074
People come from as far away as Chicago for this all you can eat smelt fry. Along with fries and cole slaw, it is quite the feast. Many people bring their own homemade condiments to share - bet someone asks you for your recipe! And don't be surprised if someone comes over to check and make sure you ate the tails.
Smelt fry starts 5:30 pm Friday, and 4:30 pm Saturday.

I tried calling the number listed, but got no answer.
If it's actually this weekend, I'd be up for going. (Like EvA, I'm already booked for the 13th.)

Rule of thumb for this Fish Fry: It is the Friday and Saturday after Easter always.

I've gone to this event many times. If you go on Saturday after the Shaw's Crabhouse visitors, their tartare sauce is usually available.

I'm going to a friend's documentary premier, otherwise I'd be eating smelts up to and including their tails.

"Butch" from the American Legion just called me back and confirmed that the smelt fry is this Friday and Saturday, April 5 and 6.
And Cathy, you are correct--it is always the first weekend after Easter.
Irisarbor, are you still interested in going, now that the date has changed?

    I don't know-
Hubby is driving up from B'ton IND Sat day-
I think it's not too likely he'll want to more driving after that.
let me mull it over a bit.

I was at Ewing brothers smoked fish in Port Washing yesterday to get a couple of smoked herrings for me and some whitefish for the neighbors. They had bags of smelts available.
