Hi -- Just curious if anyone knows this place? On our way to Au Cheval last night, we noticed its storefront while driving down Western. Its Facebook page makes me think it's been around at least since the fall. Intrigued.....

It's been around for a while. They sell excellent butter. I can't vouch for anything else, but it's a interesting store.

Thanks -- Is the concept that they're bringing products from the farm to their storefront?

Not necessarily products from the farm specifically. More like bringing products from an Amish community in Indiana. http://amishhealthyfoods.com/products/

Yeah, I'm not sure when exactly they opened, it's been at least a year and a half, I'd say. A nice little store and a very nice owner, but unfortunately I don't stop in as often as I should considering the proximity to my house. It's been a while for me, but one of my issues was that all the meats were frozen. So that immediately eliminated it from being a spot where I could stop in to grab a protein to cook for dinner that night.

Also, I believe they are actually expanding into the storefront adjacent to them, across Cortez from the Empty Bottle. At least, that's what folks on Everyblock and the Ukie Village FB page have been reporting.
