We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and dinner at Slagel Family Farm last summer, as referenced in
this thread. The tour of the farm was inspirational, the family and staff were friendly, the butchering demo was informative (plus we were able to buy some ribs and belly from that very pig), the dinner was delicious, and the bus ride was tiring (and somewhat disrupted by a loud and increasingly drunk group of friends) yet appreciated.
