Long time since I've posted, however wanted to let my favorite board in on Curry Point which is kitty corner from TAC quick. Open for a few months it is now my go to Indian delivery. Favorites so far are Lamb Madras Korma, Chicken Vindaloo, and Bagara Baingan. The Vindaloo would improve with thigh meat opposed to cubed breast, however the sauces are spicy and fragrant. Naan has held up well with delivery, but I'm just a few blocks away. This joint is a little pricey, but worth it IMO.

The food at this place reminds me of why I like Indian food. Nicely spiced, spicy, good thickness to the curries, tasty naan.

I've picked up food twice and have tried chicken 65, gobi manchurian, chicken tikka masala, chicken chettinad, chicken haryali, lamb madras korma, lamb rogan josh, garlic naan, keema naan.

Prices are very reasonable. Veg main dishes are $9, chicken main dishes are $11, lamb and seafood main dishes are $13.

I believe the mains come with a small portion of white rice. The naan does not come out charred, if that matters to you.

The pieces of chicken and lamb have been good, they are not stringy or fatty or tough. The curries do not come with a pool of oil on top...which i've seen at some other places (hema's!)

Very solid food overall. Chicken 65 I would not order again, thought it was very so so.

Thanks for the heads up on this place; I have a sibling who lives nearby who I think will appreciate knowing about a good Indian delivery option.

When I looked up the address given in this thread for Curry Point on my own (Microsoft Streets & Trips) favorite sites map, I was confused because 3913 N. Sheridan appeared to be the address of Pizza Rustica --- according to the pushpin I put on that map. I figured out that that's because the street number for Pizza Rustica is given as 3913 in two LTH threads (here and here), which is where I got my information about it. Googled around and, if I'm not mistaken, the street number for Pizza Rustica is actually 3908; Curry Point is at 3913. Haven't yet been to either, so I can't confirm either address personally.

Pizza Rustica used to be on the East side of Sheridan. A few years ago, they moved to the West side of the street when a better building became available.
