Stopped by this morning between kid dropoff at Northwestern and volleyball practice.

I got some nice red potatoes, spinach, green onions, and some free beet greens that I have no idea what to do with, any suggestions?

The best was the $23 worth of cheese and fruit. Got some blue, some mozzarella some 6 yr cheddar and a bit of goat cheese. On the way out I spied some raspberries and tried one. They were about the best I've ever had, sweet and juicy and perfectly ripe. I got two pints and one is gone already. I made a PBJ for Claire but instead of jam I just layered on some of the raspberries.
I used to think the brain was the most important part of the body. Then I realized who was telling me that.

I have become totally addicted to the Cheese from the Evanston Farmers Market. On top of having cheeses that I have not found anywhere else and that are the best ever, the vendor has great knowledge and will take the time with each person to help pick out what is right for them.

    Also, great yogurt!!!

Does anyone know how much longer the Evanston Farmers Market will be up and running?

Sautee them with red onions, garlic, salt and pepper, toss in a few dried currants (or not) and toss with a little oil and vinegar or lemon juice. Eat as is or toss with penne pasta and top with parmesan.

Right, but there's usually one more market with a good number of the vendors (Henry's, Nichols, Great American Cheese, etc.) the Saturday before Thanksgiving at Immanuel Lutheran Church, on Sherman just south of Lake.
