In. Have you made arrangements with the place as it can be hard for a big group.

I haven't contacted them yet, VI. How big a group do you think they can handle?

Tentatively in, and as I mentioned to David, Rich, and Hammond yesterday, I was just at the Aurora location last week. We stuck to grilled skirt steak with fixings, horchata, and homemade tortillas, but it rocked.

If we take up the whole band of tables in the middle maybe 20, but that's assuming no one's sitting there. On a Tuesday night, my guess is the place is not hugely busy (based on experience), but you never know.

Tangent: this La Q is really pretty close to Freddy's Pizza in Cicero for those wanting supplies earlier (they'll be closed after dinner), and also newly-minted GNR Big Guys (open for a nightcap), where I learned last night Robert Nava from the Depot (and many other area spots) is now happily on the line for the moment.

Once I get a better idea of how much interest there is I'll give them a call.

It pains me to have to say this, especially since I was part of the original chatter about checking out La Quebrada, but I have to cancel for tonight. I should have known better than to schedule social activities during my busiest week of the year. Sorry guys, hope its a delicious time!
