Business dinner in private room in Loop

I know this is not entirely in the LTH forum sensibility, but I'm looking for a high-end place in the Loop with a private room for a business dinner function, where the primary concern is really not food (horrors!) as much as exceptional service that ensures everything goes smoothly. But I'd still like to have a good meal...

A private room and Loop location are, unfortunately, absolute requirements. (Even the Peninsula, for example, is too far away for this.) Everest is where I've done this kind of thing in the past. Has worked great, but am looking for alternatives.

I've been to some nice dinners in private rooms at Trattoria No. 10 at 10 N. Dearborn.

Catch 35 has a small private room, along with exceptionally fresh fish and attentive service.

The last time I needed to book a private room for business dinners I used OpenTable.com to help me come up with the initial list of restaurants that have appropriate function space. Obviously, their list will only include Open Table restaurants, but it's a quick and easy source for dozens of specs, including the name/phone number of the private dining contact and how many people each room can hold. FWIW, I've done business dinners for groups of 20-25 at Crofton on Wells, mk and NoMi and would recommend them all highly, but obviously none are Loop restaurants.

Sullivans Steak House has an extremely private room, door and all, for meetings of about 12-15 comfortably.

Its called the Board Room. 2 floor, nice street views

I had a business dinner/meeting event at Sullivan's last February. They indeed have not one, but at least 3 - 4 private rooms on the second floor (along with a semi-private bar area). It was a great location, but I wasn't all that wild about the steaks. They pale in comparison to places like S&W, Mortons, G&G, etc. but I have found that when it comes to arranging business dinners in places like this, you have to make some compromises. Unfortunately, it's usually the food that gets shot shrift. BTW, being in River North, Sullivan's might be out of your very specific geographical area.

Aria, 200 North Columbus, has these unique round enclosed seating areas. It was a nice break from the norm.

Hotel Monaco has more than a few private meeeting rooms that can be catered to by South Water Kitchen. They do a lot of these type of events, so they would be a good fit for you and waht it seems like you are looking for. Their info is here: Chris Strawbridge, 312-236-9300. Good Luck
