BurgerFi had opened at Lake and Milwaukee in Glenview awhile ago, Mrs Willie & I stopped by the other day.
BurgerFi is a chain, with this Glenview location being the first in IL.
Mrs Willie ordered a BurgerFi hamburger: Double patty natural Angus burger, lettuce, tomato, and BurgerFi® sauce
And I the Brisket Burger: Double patty made of natural 28 day dry aged ground brisket, Swiss cheese, blue cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles and BurgerFi® sauce.
Burgers are cooked to a medium, with just a touch of pink.
I was really disappointed in the taste of my burger meat, for the purported dry age aspect it did not have any different flavor in my opinion to the regular patty of Mrs Willie's burger.
Both burgers were rated a 6 out of 10. Good but nothing we need to race back for.
Fries were decent (~2.75 for a small), we opted for the $0.77 surcharge of vinegar & salt added.
With so many better burgers for generally less cost near us, I don't see us getting back to BurgerFi soon.
