For those who were unable to make the recent lunch at Boston Fish Market, the Evanston Lunch Group will be meeting for lunch at Boston Fish Market on Monday July 7th at 11:30 (Note the time: NOT 12:30 as usual, in the hope of getting a table).

BFM is quite a drive, but the enthusiasm is genuine.

I would love to make our group an even 12 and bring my son, who is arriving home this afternoon. Thanks, GAF, for arranging!

How about making it an even 14? Please count me in along with a plus 1. My cousin Pam has heard about BFM and would love to join us.

I'm delighted by all this interest. Remember BFM doesn't take reservations. So the first one there should grab the largest table they can. If we need to sit at two tables, we can do that. See you at 11:30.

I'm sorry to be making it an unlucky 13, but I'm not going to be able to make it. It looks like I'll have too much work tomorrow to pop over to Des Plaines. Hope you all have fun!

Due to an amazing alignment of the stars, my daughter is off tomorrow and wishes to eat fish and seafood and spend time with her mother and brother, so we will be three in total. Thanks!

We had several huge - HUGE! - platters each with a variety of types of fish/seafood. (Things I would never be able to order if I were only in a party of two, way too much food, but for the twelve of us, it was perfect.) Plus two orders of soft shell crabs that were outstanding. And a salad with octopus that was one of the best octopus renditions you'll find in Chicagoland. Plus lots of other stuff. I didn't take the photos so I can't post any, sorry!
