A friend from the internet contacted me about a pending visit over Columbus Day. He and his friend want to do a food related activity. I suggested following one of the food crawls documented on LTH.
He seems to want to do a cooking class where they get into the nitty gritty.
Do you have any ideas or point to any resources?

Post #2 - July 31st, 2014, 5:17 pmI'd suggest the Chopping Block at the Mart. They are running the "Pie and Tart Boot Camp" on Columbus Day, and it sounds like it could be right in their wheelhouse. Very easy to get to without driving, too, either by El or via Metra. Great resource, great facilities. Here's the blog about the class.
