Middle Eastern Cheeses

Came across "labneh", "nabulsi", and "haloumi" (spellings per the labels) today at Potash Brothers Market 1525 N. Clark (312)337-7537. Brand name is Le Bedouin (based in Quebec, per Google). Haven't tried 'em, dunno if they'll always be there, but seemed worth passing along.

As a proud Chicagoan, when I get a hankering for Middle Eastern cheese, I look for Chicago cheese (made in Michigan). Here are photos taken last year at a couple places in Dearborn.
