As others have noted, the Lincoln Square Vietnamese restaurant scene has gotten really interesting in past few years.
We had a take-out lunch from Huong restaurant on Lawrence this weekend and thought it really solid. I believe this place used to be a cafe but they recently opened as a full service restaurant. The inside is spacious and tastefully decorated.
I'm generally hesitant to post a review after one takeout experience but 1) we thought the experience was good and 2) there's not much info about the place online so I thought I'd post a menu.
We had the fresh spring rolls (shrimp and pork), rare beef salad, bun noodles with pork and egg roll and the bun mam. The pork with the bun noodles were a standout. The spring rolls were fresh and delicious. Rare beef salad was solid (but not as good as Nha hang Viet nam's on Argyle). Viet nam's bun mam is leagues better--we thought Huong's was a little thin/bland. I liked the fish balls in it but not crazy about the addition of Krab. We'll definitely be back here to eat in and explore the menu (though I would probably skip the bun mam). Looking forward to trying items under the 'breakfast with bread section', though probably not the Vietnamese meatball in ketchup sauce.

They have karaoke available for those that can belt out the tunes in Vietnamese (maybe English too, I didn't ask)
