Data breach occured at Jewel

Hi- This was mentioned on both of the couponing sites that I post on. Jewel discovered there was a data breach that occurred starting in June and ending I believe on July 18. Crain's first reported on it this morning. Jewel has now come out with an official response on their facebook page. Here is the link:

As far as they know the hackers were not able to acquire any sensitive information, but they are researching this further, and the federal government is involved in this now too. As far as I know, I did not use my debit card at Jewel during that time because I had a $100 gift card that I was using to purchase groceries. They claim that as far as they know everybody's private information is safe, but they will have to investigate further. The letter that I gave a link to goes into what they are doing right now.
