I noticed that they were $1.99/lb at HMart.

I saw those same apples at Jerry's. They were huge. I liked the price, though they were more than a single serving. It is definitely an apple to share rather than eat by yourself.

I will add that I noticed HCs yesterday evening at my local Butera (Harwood Heights) for 99 cents/lb. On account of this thread, I looked at them a little more closely that I might otherwise. They were large and most had minor blemishes.
