The LTH North Lunch Group is going commando. The November destination has absolutely no coverage on LTH. However, recent LTH intel has provided enough information to make this spot worthwhile checking out.

For those of you that are directionally challenged - this is on the north side of 176 (Rockland Rd) across from the Knauz Autoplex. It's the spot formerly known as Hillery's BBQ.

I plan to attend and expect Helen will come as well.

Helen and her husband have been to Nardos. The owner is a former employee of Hillery's. Instead of briquettes, they use wood charcoal. This is already an improvement. I wasn't quite clear on their use of wood.

I took one for the team Sunday and got some carryout from Nardo's. While the brisket and pulled pork were not the greatest I have ever had, they were both decent, though a bit dry. The hot link was one of the spiciest sausages I have ever eaten, and I liked it a lot. I only tried the hot sauce and it too was very spicy. I did not receive the small order of tips that I had asked for but I did not realize it until I got home. I am looking forward to trying some of the fried fish and shrimp which several people there were eating. It will definitely be better than Hillary's.
