I know, true buffalo wings are not breaded. But that's what I like ! Besides Hooter's where can I find breaded wings in the Chicagoland area? Thank you

Though I can't answer the question, I can tell you that there was once a breaded buffalo wing I was head over heels in love with . . . Hamburger Hamlet . . . big, breaded and with a fantastic sauce. Unfortunately, they've been gone for years.

I had some really excellent breaded wings at Hunter & Tails in Humboldt Park off of Chicago. Actually, everything I had there is superb if you have a high tolerance toward fried-heavy menu.

I'm a fan of the breaded wings at R.J. Grunts along with the breaded and fried buffalo chicken sandwich. Here's a link to a Serious Eats review.

The Humboldt Park gastropub Hunter & Tails appears to be closed for good.
