They keep quite well frozen, too: the leaves are sturdy enough that they don't lose much in the freezer even after months. Before I got the tree, I'd keep a ziplock with the bulk of a foam tray full, and it continued to be quite usable until visible freezer burn showed. It helps that you seldom use them whole unless you're going to pull them out again, like bay leaves.
