Pigmon had heard some scuttlebutt about this place and suggested we have lunch there. It's in the space formerly occupied by Willow Tree . . .

Blood Sausage (Soondae)This was my favorite item and one I'd never had before. It was tasty with a fairly neutral flavor but I really enjoyed it. The texture of the cellophane noodles inside was great.

Gamjatang (Pork Bone & Potato Soup)Solid rendition with a decent broth. For me, it wasn't nearly as flavorful or complex as the version at
Cho Jung in Glenview (only about 3.5 miles from here), which remains my all-time favorite. Still, it was better than many versions I've had. Panchan were not numerous (only 3 were served) but they were tasty and refilled generously throughout our meal.
