To encourage folks to come out and sample wares from this GNR-nominated restaurant/bakery, I'd like to organize two LTH outings.

This is a no-reservation, counter-service type restaurant with communal seating. Since seats are somewhat limited, I'm organizing two separate events outside their peak times from 10:30-1:30. One will be early - before they might run out of menu items. The other will be later.

Again, given the seating, I'm going to limit attendance at 5. Hopefully, organizing on different dates and times will accommodate more member schedules. I expect that seating won't be as much of a problem at these times, but we should be prepared to perhaps break into a group of 2 and 3 to be able to be seated quickly.

Edited to update time to 2 PM

Presumably the 1:30 time is the later reservation. What time is the early reservation?

bean, there are no reservations. This is just a time to meet up that is hopefully outside of their busiest hours. There is no guarantee of being seated immediately.

But, to answer your question, the event I've posted that is more in a breakfast time frame is this this Saturday, February 28th at 9:30 AM as linked above.

The new menu is up and includes intriguing savory dishes such as:

    MUSHROOM TART
    bordeaux spinach, garlic confit, shallot

    SHORTRIB
celery root broth, radish, poached egg

I'm not sure anyone was planning to join me, but I will still be having lunch. I'm pushing it back to 2 PM, though.

Heh, didn't see the time update. I arrived at 1:15 and saw they were nearly out of pastry, so I called an audible (to my party of one) and bought most of the remaining stock: 2 pecan tarts and 4 raisin croissants. Now I'm staring at them and pondering how long to wait for other LTH'ers to appear. Got kind of a "Tantalus"-thing going, now....
