Poor me. I have to spend several days in Rome.
Kidding! I'm thrilled. I would love any suggestions for cheaper places to eat in Rome. I know you are going to ask me "what do you consider cheap, cleanplateclub?" I guess I don't really what to expect price-wise in Rome. Say I were to buy a slice of pizza, a salad and glass of wine. What would be a good affordable price?
$20 US dollar for lunch would be kind of high, $10 - $15 would be about right. $25 US or less for dinner, closer to less. Even less for lunch or dinner would be great.
We will be staying near the Spanish Steps, so dinner options in that area would be especially appreciated. We will be staying in a hotel, so we will not be able to keep a lot, if any, groceries in our room.
