Post #1 - April 23rd, 2015, 3:59 pmSorry for mixing my metaphors, but when I went to his websitehttp://tonygourmetgroup.com/ it still lists Lao Hunan.
I though LTHers went there recently and declared Lao Hunan persona non grata . Also I remember reading that he had sold Lao Beijing.
So ..... which of these are still OK to go. I am going to really miss Lao Hunan as their vegetarian dishes were really outta sight. Pairs4Life organized a vegetarian only dinner there a while ago that was memorable.
If it helps, the Evanston LSC still features Tony in all his glory at the entrance, for what it is worth.

Post #6 - April 24th, 2015, 11:18 amI've had only one bad meal from LSC Uptown, and the next meal I had was just as good as normal. I don't know if it was just the wrong person in the kitchen, but I definitely would not consider that location to be horrible.

I recently had a damn good meal at the Uptown location, so I'm going to agree with this.
