I just wanted to give everyone a heads up about this terrific event, which is coming up on April 30 at Galleria Marchetti (825 W Erie St.) It's again being organized by my friend Danny Shapiro of Scofflaw. Last year's first edition was one for the ages and looking at this year's line-up, it promises to be another spectacular affair. Here is the list of participating bars:

$50 gets you in for cocktails throughout the entire, 4-hour event, plus food, music and hobnobbing up close and personal with some of the city's finest bartenders.
Procedes will benifit Un86'd, a charity that provides monetary relief for restaurant professionals in need; including educating workers on how to utilize public and private health care for their own benefit.

Unfortunately I'll be in NYC for this years, but please report back.For what we choose is what we are. He should not miss this second opportunity to re-create himself with food.
