After four and a half years, we have... A POST!!!
Today we went to Prime & Provisions for their Sunday brunch, and
WOW! was it terrific! I consider it right up there with Shaw's Crab House as the two best brunches in the entire city! Granted, there are different styles of brunch, and not everyone wants the "grand buffet" style on any given Sunday. But if you're looking for an all-you-can-eat type brunch and don't mind paying a somewhat expensive price for it ($59 for the standard brunch, or $79 with unlimited mimosas or bloody marys), this one is definitely worth considering.
What I really loved about this brunch is the QUALITY of the food, and it's not readily apparent from the menu. For example, they feature "slow roasted prime rib". But this isn't just standard prime rib; it's tender, melt-in-your-mouth prime rib, one of the best you'll find anywhere (one that makes me want to come back and have it for dinner). They also have traditional prime rib accompaniments like popovers, creamed spinach, and "properly whipped" potatoes. They don't just have "shrimp" (as shown on the menu); they're actually giant prawns. The dessert spread was top notch as well, with excellent hot bread pudding, excellent crème brulee, excellent macarons, and so much more (not all of which is in the photos, sorry).

Service was excellent, and the view looking out past the sidewalk across the river was lovely.
And now, the photos!
