We avoided Algonquin like the plague when we lived in the area as the traffic at IL -31 and IL-62 was legendary.

Post #9 - July 7th, 2015, 2:50 pmA bit late but, Algonquin also has Montarra, at Randall/County Line, which is a more upscale steak and "modern" American food place. There is also a Bonefish and a Biaggi's in Algonquin Commons across the street. Several decent Japanese places, a few good Chinese and a good Thai place west on Algonquin Rd.

Post #10 - July 21st, 2015, 10:45 amA bit even later, but I highly recommend and love the Village Vintner. Beer & wine crafted on-premises pair with wood-fired pizzas & upscale pub food in a mellow setting. We belong to the wine of the month club, there's also a growler club.
