Due to the cold, wet weather this past weekend, the Maifest in Lincoln Square was poorly attended.
DNA info reports that the DANK Haus is selling provisions left over from their food tent operations: white brats, Thuringers, landjäger (dried sausage) and leberkäse. I saw a banner for
Schmeissers Sausage at the fest, so I am guessing that they may be the supplier.
The Maifest is the main annual fundraiser for the DANK Haus and its education programs, so if you'd like to help them make up their losses from the fest, consider making a purchase (this week only). Email or call in your order before making a pick up.
