It figures that the Swedes would be the ones to develop this. Check it out for us, Bridgestone.

No,but seeing that it has a shelf life of 12 years  it probably would go perfect with this.

So is it the burger in a can that has a 12-year shelf life? Because I don't imagine bacon in a plastic squeeze bottle would have the same shelf-life as something sealed in a metal can.

Looking for the perfect gift for your favorite foodie survivalist? Look no further!

According to their website not only does the squeeze bacon have a 12 year shelf life but it requires NO refrigeration.

Someone else on this board and I are in the same boat: trying to find a gift for a graduate that we hardly know. I think we have found it.

Actually, if you haven't watched the video at the bottom of the ThinkGeek page for Sqeez Bacon, you really should. The English translations in the captions are astonishing.

Apparently, while there is a real product out there called Smokey Bacon Paste, Squeez Bacon is an elaborate hoax. Not entirely certain what the difference would be between Smokey Bacon Paste and Squeez Bazon, but it's probably the 12 year shelf life.

    Pity.

A friend said the video at the bottom was his tip-off, as no one in Sweden speaks English that badly.
