Anybody been watching Running Wild with Bear Grylls?

Hi- Has anybody else been watching Running Wild with Bear Grylls on Monday nights on NBC. Every week there is a different celebrity that spends two days in the wild with Bear. Towards the end of the first day, Bear looks around for anything they can have for dinner, and also looks around for a possible campsite. One week Bear found a rat which he fixed for dinner, and I think one week they had squirrel, and last night Bear was in the jungles of Panama with Drew Brees, and Bear found an alligator, which Drew had to wrestle with and then stab it, and carry it to the campsite They just filmed a two day excursion Bear had with the President up in Alaska. That episode is going to be shown sometime this fall.

My Mom watches this show, which means I see pieces here and there. How he captures and selects which part to eat is quite interesting.

My Mom is quite interested in the excursion with the President.

While it is interesting to watch the people on-camera. I keep thinking of the team of people following them. They are like Ginger Rogers, where they do the same things in a dress and high heels while dancing backwards.

I always wondered about the cameramen who have to film all this. That can't be an easy job. They discussed the episode that was just filmed with the President in Alaska on the today show today. Obama told Bear that he did not want to eat anything that had a recognizable face. Bear ended up finding a salmon fish that a bear had taken a bite out of it, and then discarded it.
