I'm hoping to find a great place to do carry-out fried perch for about 20 people for Friday night. I know there's a lot of great choices in the city, but we won't have time to head down there & back in time. Johnson's in Lombard is the only one that I know of and while their fish is great for eating there, carry-out always seems to get soggy by the time we get it home.

    Thanks in advance!

A little further north (ok, a lot), I'd highly recommend Boston Fish Market of Des Plaines. Love, love, love their perch.

If you happen to run into a place that does carry out fried items that don't get soggy during transit (fish or chicken), please post about it!
