My only concern about this whole business is that it appears that the woman just lays there like another dead fish. I would prefer a more interective experience.

Of course, I would enjoy what you are thinking in your dirty little mind, but what I meant by my post was that she looked comatose. I'd rather have her at least interact and talk to me as we were eating. Maybe she could even smile a little and say something like, "try the tuna on my left thigh. It's really fresh today."

Oh, I see, you want to have a pleasant conversation with your serving platform.

From an engineering standpoint, talking with your serving platform would be challenging. If she started laughing (I sometimes have that effect on women), I can imagine the dinner being disrupted and sushi rolls rolling off the belly and elsewhere. Having a normal conversation would be just...odd.

So, how close is her surface body temperature to optimal sushi serving temperature? Isn't the rice supposed to be just about body temp?

That combover dude was FREAKY... I went last week and must confess that art school has probably given me a skewed view of nude folks but the food was great. I, personally, don't think I'd like the slightly warmed to body-temp effect but it's a far cry from Cook, Thief, Wife, Lover... that would have been body sushi too... but it was cooked.

I took a few shots trying to catch that 70s Cassavettes Vegas-thing... then went to the sushi bar for dinner...

I'm just catching up. Looking at the Metromix pix, I have a three thoughts.

First, LAZ, wasn't it a bit unfair to link to the old cabron without offering equal bandwidth to the fresh-faced, happy-go-lucky lady digging into the sushi? Happy Sushi Trixie

Second, I wonder whether the plastic surgery dollars wouldn't be better spent on some plugs and a chin lift. I'm concerned he's going to lose the value of his daughter's extreme rhino and bossom work long before it is fully depreciated.

Third, the "erotic" art on the walls looks suspiciously like the work of one Darren Moats, a stoner from AP Leto HS in Tampa, circa 1987, known for his primitive/outsider tempera work. I wonder if they have any of his homages to AC/DC and Randy Rhodes elsewhere in the bar. Erotic?

Seriously, someone on this Board ate at that place? I hope you were taking one for the team.

Oh, she's happy all right. Here she is with her, um, uncle, looking like she took the opposite of what the sushi-table lady had. And is she old enough to have whatever it is she's drinking?

In yesterday's (Sunday, 13 November 2005) Chciago Tribune, at the top of the first page of section 13 (Q: Qualities of LIfe) there appears a brief article by Chris McNamara about Kizoku's 'body sushi'. He claims this topic is the "talk of the town" on the radio, in print and on the internet. There is an extremely brief interview with the lass on whom is served the sushi, who goes by one name, Tabitha. I suggest she add a last name: Ms. Tabitha Tablewear.

    It's an amusing little piece.
