    has anyone read 'the mad feast', by matthew gavin frank? he's speaking at city lit books in logan square tomorrow night, and i was wondering if it would be worth my time to go. i havent read it, or even heard of it before getting the news about the event. thanks

    If you do go, tell me what you think. Dinner finished up on the late side, otherwise I would have gone down to Winnetka to see him. I have talked to him about a Roundtable program, so your feedback will help.

    Wow, that elegy was magnificent. I had heard of this guy but now I want to read more. Thank you for the heads up!
