    Hi,

What immediately pops into my mind is the chocolate cream pie in 'The Help.' Certainly it would be served without the secret ingredient.

The Grand Budapest Hotel: a little tower of cream-filled pastries called a Courtesan au Chocolat.

What others come to your mind?

Grand Budapest was the first to come to my mind . . . the only other movie that hits me over the head as far as desserts go is Chocolat, which featured chocolate in almost every imaginable form.

My favorite hands down is "Waitress"
I still wish I had a recipe for Jenna's Chocolate Strawberry Pie.
No matter how I imagine it, it's not as good as the description.
"Nobody in the world can make strawberry chocolate pie like you. Wednesday is my favorite day of the week just cause I get to have me a slice of it. I think about it as I’m waking up. It could solve all the problems of the world, that pie. It’s a thing of beauty….how each flavor opens itself, one by one, like a chapter in a book. First, the flavor of an exotic spice hits ya. Just a hint of it…and then you get flooded with the chocolate, dark and bittersweet like an old love affair…..and finally – strawberry – strawberry the way it was always supposed to taste like but never could...."
"If you reject the food, ignore the customs, fear the religion and avoid the people, you might better stay home."
    ~James Michener

Apple Pie à la mode, When Harry Met Sally

I'd like the Chef's Salad, please, with oil and vinegar on the side, and the apple pie à la mode, but I'd like the pie heated and I don't want the ice-cream on the top, I want it on the side and I'd like strawberry instead of vanilla, if you have it. If not, then no ice-cream, just whipped cream, but only if it's real. If it's out of a can, then nothing.
