I'd like the Chef's Salad, please, with oil and vinegar on the side, and the apple pie à la mode, but I'd like the pie heated and I don't want the ice-cream on the top, I want it on the side and I'd like strawberry instead of vanilla, if you have it. If not, then no ice-cream, just whipped cream, but only if it's real. If it's out of a can, then nothing.

Is this on Netflix or Prime? I need to watch it again. I don't know when I turned into her because I don't recall that from the movie but man those changes to the offerings are classic.

As a kid I didn't see anything wrong with being finicky and I knew that was the word my parents used to describe my relationship to food since I was a tot. Thanks for triggering a memory of a very young me 6 days after my birthday.

This is one of my favorite movies. I could watch it again and again though I rarely watch a movie twice. This scene resonates with me. My family teases me for being "finicky" too. I've always been this way, but I prefer instead to think of myself as a woman who knows what she wants (which can be a good thing)!

    Belated birthday wishes to you!
