With the opening of 3 Greens at the ever-morphing former Dillman's space, Sodikoff's pretty damn good bagels are back. You can also get Vault donuts, Cheval burgers, Dillman's pastrami, or a Salt Lake style pastrami burger, which is nice. Lots of other stuff but my focus is on the tried and true.

And there's always the East Bank Club take out a few doors down for NYB&B bagels and bialy.

That makes me wonder - are there any other places in the loop that sell NY Bagel & Bialy bagels? How about in the west suburbs?

In the Loop, not that I've noticed over the years. At EBC (and its close orbit) they have a specific, ready and discerning market. I imagine there's an old, fit guy named Morrie who grabs them on the way down for his daily 7 am squash match.
