    It's so rare I frequent a spot that has yet to be reviewed on LTH; this place opened up last year and is open seasonally for Italian Ice and gelato.

    I'll analogize this via hot dog stands.
    Mario's:Jimmy's::Tony and Millie's:Hot Doug's

    That analogy would not fly on the SATs, but whatever. The point is, Tony and Millie's Italian Ices are dope, and their flavors are a bit more unorthodox. I've tried the banana/chocolate chip and the chippy coffee. They also have other good-sounding things like Dreamsicle and Salted Pretzel Peanut Butter. They have the standards are well. It's all homemade and the owner is friendly and proud of his stuff.

    This place makes Alinea 2.0 look like Alinea 1.5 at best*.

    Love,
    John

    *Not necessarily true, I haven't been to any version of Alinea yet.
    It isn't that I'm not full...

    I love Tony and Millie's. Their pineapple ice is the best version of pineapple ice I've ever had. And their traditional lemon ice is the perfect treat on a hot, humid July evening. They have some chairs outside for sitting, and they are very kid friendly. They will also let you try a sample of whatever ice you are thinking about ordering. Great service. Nice owners. Good times.

    Enjoyed the watermelon ice quite a bit.
    The pomegranate, not so much. Tasted as if it were made with a low-quality syrup.

    I just realized I have been here already.. I had the pineapple ice and it was good. There is a cotton candy grape flavor that is really outstanding but they didn't have it today.

    Tried the pineapple and lemon last night. I liked them very much. Id say it's the best option on the far NW side. I like the slight graininess and it's not so sweet.

    This will be a regular stop for me in the warm weather. The portion sizes are excellent as well.
