I've got four general admission tickets for the Green City event that I suddenly can not use. If anyone is interested in attending, please let me know. The price is $125/ticket but I'll take the best offer. I just want someone to use these if I can't. It's a great event and well worth attending if you can.

    Thanks

It is uncanny, no matter what kind of a summer we're having, how this event almost always ends up being on one of the hottest days of the year. Of course, tomorrow's forecast is for 95 degrees, though at least the chance of rain during the event is only around 15%. :x

    It'll still be a blast but . . . oy!

Before you go, pick up a Kafka Kool Tie. You soak it in water for 45 minutes, the tiny gel beads inside absorb the water, the outside dries and looks like a nice neckerchief -- but because of the gel beads, it lowers your body temperature by 10 degrees. Perfect for weather like this. Have fun.

Thanks for the tip. I just picked one up at REI. I'll let you know how it works tonight.

It wasn't quite as hot last night as predicted, but it was still pretty warm. Other than people busting my chops saying that I looked like a boy scout, it worked really well for keeping me cool. I'd recommend it to anyone who has to be outside on a hot day. Thanks Cynthia!
