I also thought Fish Bar was pretty terrible and really overpriced.

LOVE Falstroms! Been a huge fan of Glen since his diner days.

You're welcome to your opinion, but the fact is, the overall pricing at Fish Bar is the same as or better than Fahlstrom's. Individual items at Fish Bar are actually significantly less expensive, but that's partly because their dinner menu format mostly leans towards small plates and sandwiches rather than the entrees featured at Fahlstrom's. When I've gone to each for dinner, I wind up spending about the same amount pp at both places (typically $50-55 including tax/tip and non-alcoholic beverage). At lunch, sandwiches are $10-12 at Fish Bar, $14-16 at Fahlstrom's. (You can compare prices on the Fish Bar menu on their website, and the Fahlstrom's menu pictured in the LTH discussion.) I've found the food quality at both to be comparable as well. It's nice to have two good choices nearby!

Since I'm rarely down that way- I'm hoping some of my LTH buds have some suggestions for me.
    Thanks in advance. :D

Where did you end up going?

As a result of suggestions in this thread, I went to the Spanish Square last week. Had a lovely time and will definitely return. Highlights were the tortilla espanol and the garlic shrimp. I also enjoyed the Spanish 75, their riff on a French 75, with gin, fig preserves, lemon and sparkling rose.
