Nothing is amazing to eat in Galena, but this is what I know.
Little Tokyo
High quality sushi at small town price.

I love the pizza. It's not traditional. They use San Marzano tomatoes. Always fresh and crispy, not overly cheesed or sauced. Simple pasta usually done right. Decent wine choices. Limited seating at prime eating times.

If you like rustic feels Log Cabin offers good traditional steak, pork, seafood, fish, + greek specialities at decent prices. Solid drinks from the bar.
http://logcabingalena.com/Gobbies is okay for a sub or pizza. Nice outdoor eating area.
http://www.gobbiesgalena.com/menu.phpParadise. Dive bar with average food. Decent daily specials and a Sunday breakfast buffet. Monday taco night is old school "American" tacos. I don't know why I really like this place, but I do. Let's call it "eclectic."
http://paradisebargalena.com/index.htmlSome swear by Otto's for dinner (other's don't), I've just never indulged. Limited evening dining hours on weekends only, breakfast, lunch otherwise.
http://www.ottosplace.com/It is fun to visit the Galena Cellars winery in the "valley." Pretty views. Avoid tour times as lines can be long. Buy a bottle and they give you the glasses to use on the porch or the lawn. You can also purchase by the glass or do the tasting. I like Bubblin Blanc, General's Reserve Red, and Britt White. However, they have many sweeter and non-grape varieties, too. They sell light snacks and discourage customers from bringing food in.
