Well, everyone, my dessert looks to maybe be a hot mess. I am making a caramelized apple tart with cinnamon custard. Sounds delicious, right? I had misgivings about the recipe, but went ahead anyways. Now that I see it in the oven, I can't imagine this is going to turn into anything but a soupy mess :( At least, hopefully, dinner will be good, and we'll have plenty of desserts.

Don't throw it out. You have given us the disclaimer. I want to talk about your misgivings about the recipe in the first place and why/ how you thought it could work.

    HI,

We learn from situations like these. Plus it may be better than you believe right now.

When I was three-years-old, I carried home a banana cream pie. My Mom probably had misgivings about this, but I was proud. She was right, I dumped the pie upside down in the box. At dinner, my Mom was upset about how I ruined the pie. My Dad gave everyone a spoon, opened the box and told all of us to dig in. That dessert would never have stuck in my mind if it had been tossed.

    Regards,
    Cathy2

I loved it. The accessibility with familiar flavors in different packaging is genius.

Thank you for a pleasant evening. Your new home is wonderful. Dinner was good. I throughly enjoyed the cider, too. Spencer was charming. Good desserts and company.
