Yet another new restaurant is about to open in Evanston.

Yeero Revolution is planning to launch its Greek Street Food restaurant in early November; we're assuming it'll be open by the 22nd. I ran into the owners at last week's Evanston Oktoberfest - they sounded enthusiastic about what they were doing, and especially about the quality of the food they're planning to serve.

We'll see about that Tuesday, November 22 at 12:30 pm. All are welcome.

    I'll be there.

It looks like I will be able to make it. See you all then!

One possibility for our next lunch is NaKorn, the new contemporary Thai restaurant in downtown Evanston. I'm planning to eat there for dinner this weekend, so I'll be able to give some idea of what it's like over our lunch at Yeero.

Sounds like a great idea to me. I'll look forward to hearing about your experience. Chicago Magazine just gave it a good writeup.

Definitely last minute, but Yeerop Revolution tends to get crowded around 12:30, so (at the suggestion of Yeero Revolution) a couple of us are going to arrive early ... 12:15, maybe earlier ... to hold a table. If anyone else wants to arrive early, we'll be there.

Curious to hear what you thought of Yeero Revolution. Had lunch there today and had the "Beefteki" sanwich which has ground lamb and beef kabob. I thought it was a very tasty sandwich. Well put together and the pita was nicely crisped. It was on the small side and the fries were nicely done, but arrived cold. I will go back to this place to try more. They are very challenged space-wise, with few tables. Seems like it may be based on a take out concept, but parking is not always easy near there.
