We've been in northwest Evanston for about five years now and I'm tired of experimenting with everything I can find. So I ask you a very simple question: where can I find good, (reasonably) fresh pita without having to shlep back into the city? There must be somewhere nearby that makes it fresh and knows how to make it.
I presume that there is a simple answer to this question and that I have overlooked the obvious, but I haven't figured it out yet. I know we were spoiled by the lovely folks on Foster but it shouldn't be this hard.
If you're a fan of Pita Inn, their location on Dempster is probably where you'll have the easiest access. And they also sell it out of their bakery/market, which is next door to their former location -- even a bit further east on Dempster. I hope that helps.
