Get Messy -Oak Park Boys Having Crabs (etc.) - Wed Nov 30

Post #1 - November 18th, 2016, 10:23 amI considered saying something like Oak Park Boys have the crabs, but that grossed even me out.
Messy Crab is a new entree in the eat a mess from a plastic bag school of restaurant taking over the city. As other where noted, it's style is a bit different than others though, Mexican/Nayarit. Think Islas Marias but with corn.
There's about five of us coming now. You can join. Don't even have to be a boy. 7 PM on November 30 (Wednesday).

Post #7 - November 30th, 2016, 11:39 amI don't think so. We ate there a couple of weeks ago and they have a decent beer selection - I stuck with the Modelo lineup given the cuisine. My wife had a margarita.
Be prepared to order seafood by the pound in a bag of buttery spiciness with potatoes and sausage. Prices were reasonable when we were there.

But it is kind of a one item menu - boiled up shellfish in a spicy sauce of some sort. Good, but how many times are you going back for the same thing?i used to milk cows

Obviously a lot of people felt the same way. Messy Crab is now closed. A place called Rustico 722 is supposed to open there around the beginning of March.
