Terra & Vine is the new restaurant from owner/sommelier Alpana Singh in downtown Evanston next to the movie theaters*. They serve Italian Mediterranean cuisine. (They are starting lunch service this coming Tuesday, so the lunch menu is not yet available on their website, but hopefully will be posted soon.) Our lunch will be on Wednesday, February 8, at 12:30 pm. All are welcome. If you can, please post here if you expect to join us, so I can let the restaurant know what size group to set up for. See you then!

The lunch menu is now available on the Terra & Vine website:

It looks like most entrees and sandwiches are in the $12 to $15 range.

Thanks, Gale! Looks like a great lunch menu. Sandwiches are always difficult to split up, but they sound good, and there are plenty of salads and entrees that sound great and might be easier to share. Looking forward to it!

Thanks to Gale (tarte tatin) for her post about North Shore Restaurant Week. I see Terra & Vine is offering 15 percent off on lunch, so I would assume that would apply during our lunch this coming Wednesday. Woo hoo! See you then!

I'm sorry, but I'm going to be a no- show. I sprained my ankle really badly and am having trouble walking on it. So sorry - - I was really looking forward to trying this place. :(
