Last week's episode of the Viceland series visited Chicago. The show can be somewhat disjointed but they visited Xoco, Publican, Taste of Polonia, Maxwell Street, Margie's and Roister in a half hour episode. Obviously not much depth but every dish at Roister looked amazing.

Definitely my favorite food/travel show on TV.

Agreed. I find Action and crew more enjoyable than pretty much any other food hosts and they are interacting with food in a way that is mad relatable. I'd much rather see dudes standing on the street eating Margie's like real people than a tightly scripted and perfectly blocked out scene in a restaurant.

As I said above - disjointed. Some episodes are great, others -- less so. The LA and SF episodes were really good, but Chicago was just so-so. I'll Have What Phil's Having was more appealing for me because he dug in deeper (although he gets very irritating very quickly).

Agree with everything said above. Love any shows in this genre as it allows me to watch people do what I love most: eat and travel. And these 4 seem to enjoy themselves a whole lot while doing so.

And for anyone with an interest in Phil Rosenthal's future plans, he just signed a deal with Netflix.
