Somewhat surprised to not have seen a thread about this restaurant. I went last Wednesday and sat at the bar and had drinks/dinner. The food was outstanding as was the happy hour deals. They had an old fashioned (just ok) and a margarita (good) for $6 as well as oysters for $2/per (normally $3/per) and various other smaller bites and a burger (did not try). The oysters were very unique and had a pomegranate flavor, very good. We also had the tartar with foie gras (cant say I could really pinpoint the foie flavors but it was very good), roasted cauliflower, squid ink seafood cavatelli (very good), pork chop and we finished with the blue cheese cheesecake which is in the top 5 best desserts I have ever had (I don't have much of a sweet tooth but this was savory so nailed exactly what I was hoping for). All in all a great restaurant and certainly something to add to the rotation. This mirrors very closely Boka and the bar is a great place to sit and have a drink.

My group very much enjoyed a meal at Honey's last evening. We chose it because it is just about next door to City Winery, where we were catching a show. In the past, I've used Vera for that purpose, but wanted to try something different.

The meal started with some excellent bread and house made butter. I shared some oysters which had a strawberry vinaigrette already on. I usually prefer to make my own choice as to whether to put anything on an oyster, but it was delicious and didn't over power the oyster.

I also had a scallop dish with fingerling potatoes. It was covered in a very green, slightly herbaceous sauce that said "Spring" in a loud and good way. My wife had the tartar and thought it excellent. Other dishes enjoyed around the table include the risotto and salmon. The whole menu seemed to be very focused on looking and tasting like Spring.

There are so many good restaurants in that area that it's hard to know where to place this one. However, there is no doubt I'll be back when we next to to City Winery.
