I've wanted to try Priscilla's since the pre-LTH Chowhound days and finally made it out to the Hillside location yesterday. I was surprised to see that there isn't a dedicated LTH thread on the Hillside location. (There is a thread on the opening of their second location). I do remember watching a Check Please review some time ago.

Fried chicken and braised turkey legs/wings seemed to be the overwhelming favorites with the crowd. Although the chicken was tasty, the pieces were on the small side. Dressing and gravy and mac/cheese were forgettable, but candied yams were great. Peach cobbler was just ok.

Would I return? Perhaps...if I was in the area.

    Any comments on Priscilla's?

I get to Priscillas a couple times a year(work nearby), and enjoy what they do.

    They were a GNR,

My feelings about Priscilla's is pretty much the same as yours. Serviceable at best, but a decent enough choice if you're in the area.

We just happend to drive by this place after visiting my parents and realized it wasn't all that much farther out than where we actually met them. Has anyone been here recently? My dad probably hasn't had decent soul since 2003. Thanks!
