Post #2 - November 22nd, 2005, 7:36 pmHecky's in Evanston has sweet potato pie on their regular menu. I noticed today, driving by, that they are doing special orders for the holidays. In the past, they had a very good pie with the brand name CEMA's baked by a local woman in Evanston, but I do not know if the same outfit is still baking for them. Give 'em a call.

Post #3 - November 22nd, 2005, 9:52 pmI've had quite tasty sweet potato pie at Priscilla's. I'm not even an amateur on this subject, but I found the savory spicing properly balanced. I've been served sweet potato pie that I didn't even finish due to an overwhelming flavor of clove.
