I don't expect to find great indian around the WP area, but for those times where driving to a restaurant isn't an option, are there any places that deliver?

Raj darbar, on Halstead between Diversey and Fullerton, may deliver to Bucktown. I know they used to deliver to a friend of mine who lived just west of Ashland and Fullerton.
I've never been there--I usually drive to Devon for Indian food--but I'm pretty sure she thought it was good.

We order from Raj Darbar pretty regularly. It's not spectacular, but it suffices. They're pretty rude on the phone and sometimes the food takes really long. But when you have a baby, don't go out that much and crave Indian, your options are limited!

Baba Palace (Chicago/Orleans) delivers "downtown". Perhaps they have an expansive definition of downtown, or can be bribed to. I would be interested to know.

Or one of their just departing taxi drivers will do curb delivery for the cost of a fare!

Have to update my earlier tepid recommendation of Raj Darbar. My husband and I will never order from them again after a horrible recent experience when our food took two hours to arrive (they promised one hour), it was stone cold and the incredibly rude man on the phone never even apologized, let alone offered to make it up to us in any way. Forget it! I like Indian food, but I hate rudeness.

I'm definitely not an exepert on Indian, so my recommendation should probably be taken with a grain of salt. But we occasionally order from Klay Oven via CEO Deliveries (www.ceodeliveries.com). It is decidedly NOT cheap, but taaaaaaasty.
