    Hi all:

So -- I would like to try my hand at panettone as a gift for some colleagues. I've spent the last half hour trying to find a panettone pan in Chicago and it seems to be an impossible task. Do you all think that a brioche pan would suffice -- like a really big one?

Any advice would be appreciated -- I was hoping to do it this weekend.

    Cheers!

I use the paper molds. But there is a similar bread called Pandoro done in what looks a lot like the "tete" brioche pan.

You can buy the paper moulds on Amazon. Maybe if you are Prime can get here in a couple days.
