    Rich's Deli

I used to live walking distance form this place and they know me there! Meats smoked in-house, some delicious soups, some of the best and crunchiest pickles in the city, and pretty good European beer selection. Enjoy.

Trying to find a few Lithuanian Delis.
Looking for fresh Lithuanian sausage. This is like fresh polish sausage but uses onion vs garlic.

Ream's in Elburn has them. Of course, bring a big bag because you will buy more.

Do they have bacon buns every day at the bakery? Do they sell out early? Thinking of making some sw side bakery stops.

I'd call Racine Bakery & ask. My experience they make a TON.
    I usually go on a Saturday when they make a ton & 1/2 .
    Be safe & call.

Reams in Elburn, not my taste. Hardly any onion flavor.
They use a fine grind for their sausage. Good sausage has a course grind.
    Only positive Not overly salty.

Went to Racine Bakery the other day. Bacon rolls still the best !!! Other items "hit and mostly miss".

Also went to Hoosier Mama in Evanston for Mince Meat pie.
All fruit. Very "heavy" In my stomach all day.
